I'm not running a HG b/c it deforms the combustion chamber's shape a bit and modifies the quench area. And the will blow easier than the OEM HG b/c it is layered...they will normally blow after 15-25K miles. Some people have never blown a HG...some have blown 3 or 4 (of the thicker HG) but I was told by a few different tuners not to change the HG on an un-opened motor b/c if it hasn't been torn down it is the strongest/best sealed that it will ever be (without being built of course). I simply used meth injection to compensate for the higher compression and I've had no troubles. Instead of doing a HG I'm just going to wait and build it in a year or so...
