Default boost loss

hi guys,

anyone have any ideas where i should start with regard to my boost loss or running uber rich, the car was professionally tuned a while back (couple of weeks ago) and when out driving hard the car went all of a sudden from zippy to chug chug chug chug etc - it pops and bangs when on throttle but is fine on partial or cruise. I dont have a wideband so is there anything that i can check before going back to the dyno?
Belt slip seems obvious but I have swapped the belt from a dayco 39" to a gates 38.5" already and it makes no difference.

Loose o2 sensor, loose wire on aem?

Any ideas gratefully recieved!

Thanks

Dave

i'm gonna guess your belt snapped..only way you would suddenly lose boost on a supercharger like that. most likely your belt snapped and you're running super super rich cause you're still tuned for 10psi of boost when making 0

maybe you didn't tighten the belt enough the first time, or it was overtightened. with a small pulley like that it should be fairly easy to replace without removing the blower.

Or pop off a hose or fitting.

yea or a hose could've popped off the aftercooler, spilling all of your intake air. go check it out and let us know!

are you hitting bumps or something when this happens? or regardless of road conditions, under WOT, this happens?

check your plugs and injectors.

I had this happen today! But I'm turbo, not SC

Wideband (innovate) was flashing an error code, showing 15.0 regardless of rpm, and as soon as car saw boost in any gear, rpm, speed, it would bog down bad, lose speed, etc.

I made it to a parking lot, unplugged the MAP, plugged it back in (it's hitting the hood lining b/c of Missing Link underneath it), and went to eat. Came out an hour later, all's fine, W/B is not flashing any error code, full boost, no problem. Go figure...
