Damaged vacuum line, EBC not compensating for colder temps, or just plain shitty GReddy design

Im pretty sure its the temperature change. What's the temperature normally outside?,all greddy kits tend to boost spike if theres a drastic change in temperature. Try riding the car for a while. Give it like a hour drive let the engine bay get hot n try it again n see if it spikes

Last one i tuned had serious boost spike issues even with no boost controller. Like 5+ psi spike before settling to wastegate spring level.

It still spikes after a 2 hour drive so. I've read up on porting the waste gate or seeing if the flapper is seized or something

The Greddy design is actually better than most out there.

To the OP, try and pull the Vacuum line off going to the wastegate actuator, if it still spikes most likely the actuator needs adjustment. If it does not then it is your boost contoller, most of the standalone controllers are junk. I used several and the only ones that have proven reliable are integrated into a stand alone.

Mine isnt ported n no boost spike at all. I get very little spike on cold climates but goes away after my engine bay is fully warmed up
