i forgot to mention i have a 3mm cometic head gasket and arp head studs. i also have one of the only ap1 apex blue pearl s2k's.. its one of a kind.

just becuase i say t3/t4 turbo kit does not mean its ebay? my dad is a huge turbo guy, from all the ford stuff. he had a 2.3l turbocharged ford pinto that pulled the wheels. it had a garrett t3/tO4E hybrid turbo on it, i have more turbo and turbo parts laying around then you do brain cells. ive known about turbos longer then most of you have driven or knew what a car is, ive known how they have worked for a long time also.. there is absolutely nothing wrong with starting out small and cheap and building your way up, not everyone can buy a 5k turbo kit? also why the hell would you pay 5k thats just stupid. if i had 5k, id take my extra s2k engine in my garage and build it into a 2.4l monster with 12.1.1 compression, 89mm bore, dart sleeves, diff cams and valvetrain, and raise the rev limiter to 10k (NA) but no i dont have that kind of money.. also a t3/t4 ebay turbo is the same exact casting as a garrett t3/t4 turbo. the journal bearings are the exact same as well. ive had a boosted delsol with a tO4E turbo on it and drove it for years untuned on 10psi. it was a d series del sol, i didnt really care for it to much, so as long as it was running rich then it was fine with me.

everybody always thinks garrett turbo, oh yeah gt series. but no, one of garretts best turbo is the t3, t4, and t3/t4 hybrid. thats why the chinese make so many fake ones. very basic and works like a charm. a t3/t4 is a good turbo for a car that makes no power at low rpms (honda)..

im currently a student at penn state dubois and wrestle, i have no money so im getting part by part. im trying to get everything as fast as i can, so everyone lay off... and yes whoever said they got there S tuned in state ill send you a private message about getting it tuned, and get that fmu.. thanks!

Do I understand correctly that your EMS isn't installed and tuned yet and you're currently driving around on the stock ecu with larger fuel injectors and nothing to control them properly?

Also how are you blocking the map sensor from seeing boost? The stock ecu does not like seeing positive pressure.

There are a lot of things wrong with your current build at the moment.....stop driving that car

there is 5 inches of snow on the ground, no im not driving my car. no not tuned and ALL hondas have a 3bar map sensor... 11 psi of boost. the map sensor can see boost, but i have it blocked anyways. and a jackson racing map controller, im debating on to hook up yet. i started it and drove down my alley to make sure everything is good so far. not worried about that, right now im trying to figure out what exact wires to plug my resistor box into. if someone can point them out it would be great... and my buddy was going to give me a 4bar map sensor, but i decided to block it,, jackson racing map contoller kit.

You know soooooooooooooo much about turbos and your dad is the king of turbos yet your driving around in an untuned turbo s2000 (that is not turbo'd from the factory) and you can't figure out why it's running sluggish....dude wtf? Just because your a student doesn't mean your automatically retarded does it?

You also say you don't have money yet your taking your (guessing) only mode of transportation, adding a turbo (and killing overall reliability), adding cheap pos parts thinking they will work, not tuning it yet driving it hard, and basically turning your car into a diaster?

Being a former student, I'm embarassed for you

i am curious as to when Honda put 3 bar map sensors on all their vehicles? if this is true then why does everybody change to a hondata, omni, or gm map sensor?

as far as ebay vs garret. YOU get what YOU pay for. i would rather spend 1200 on a turbo than 200 and have it possibly ruin my system.

why waste a ton of money buying cheap crappy parts to get it done fast? in the end you will spend 2-3 times as much because of the parts you used, believe me ive done that.

and posting redundant threads is going to end up in people giving you crap. if you know so much then you shouldnt be on here asking for advice.

i cant believe i just wasted 10 minutes of my life reading and replying to this thread.

You have no idea what you are doing...nor do you have any idea what you are talking about.

Good luck on your motor rebuild.
