so now you admit you're running the stock ECU?

You asked if it registered in my head that you have EMS. Well it does, it registers in my head that you have an EMS that is not currently installed and you are running larger fuel injectors with no way to control them and wondering why the car ran horribly and was fouling out plugs. Does it not register in YOUR head that you need something to control the larger fuel injectors? I know you're going to install and tune the EMS eventually, but until you do you shouldn't be trying to run larger injectors, you should put the stock ones back in.

injector list here is a list of injector sales that can get you started looking. i personally use PTE 780cc injectors in mine. and i installed an injector driver box to run them. just be sure to remember to install the injector driver box before you crank the car again with any peak and hold injectors. theres actually a video of an ecu frying bc of not putting a resistor box on the injectors... cant find it now...

You think I'm flaming you but I'm really not. Your complaining that 400 dollar injectors are expensive...are you aware for a good reliable turbo setup (not some civic / del sol / dsm pos hybrid turbo kit) expect to spend AT LEAST 6,000 dollars?

I think you need to take a step back and realize what your getting yourself into. Plus judging by the way you drive (as you personally said), your going to be looking at a new diff / axles and tranny soon enough anyway.

I especially liked the part where he imagines he'll be on the track going "through a turn with all the boost at once". Maybe as you're exiting the corner....

I'm calling it now, if his engine doesn't blow first this car is getting wrecked.

If 400$ injectors are too expensive, you might want to have your ECU tuning quote ahead of time and adjust your plans from there. I've spent over 2,000$ in tuning in the last 4 years... I'd expect any decent tuner to charge at least 400$ for an initial tune.

barhonda_s2k, what aftermarket ECU are you running? Perhaps others can share their rough costs on the tune.
