boosted my S, injectors?

its very basic and just splices into the 3 map sensor wires and the wires run through it, and then to the ecu. this is extremely cheap compared to a new 3bar map sensor.
I'm not sure why it matters what kind of car I started with, but it was a 1966 mustang if you must know. I cut my teeth on carbs and yes I do all my own work.

Statements like this just further drive home the fact that after 4 years of blowing up engines you still don't know what you're doing. It's pretty clear that you don't have any idea what that "map controller" actually does and how it is in no way a substitute for a 3bar map sensor. They are for two totally different methods of tuning. Your "map controller" is for blocking a positive pressure reading to the ECU preventing it from throwing a CEL and freaking out and you would most likely couple it with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator to mechanically increase fuel flow as you build boost. A 3 bar map sensor would be used to provide an accurate pressure reading to a standalone engine management system (likely coupled with larger fuel injectors) allowing you to precisely control the fuel flow. Again, two totally different approaches to tuning.

next time ill just hit my head off a wall instead of posting a thread
probably would learn more that way and wouldnt have to see everyone talk so much shit. thanks anyways.and by the way you must know more about honda then Oscar Jackson haha. he must of made that map controller for shits and giggles. oscar jackson is the one who pretty much started the whole tuning thing for hondas. he started off with a like civic 1600 or something then went into the crx and thats were the supercharger for honda started.
i may not know everything but i know one thing. you can buy the best parts out there made by the best name brand, its still not better then HONDA itself. thats my quote for the day....
so the EMS is currently in the car? you said you hadn't had a chance to get the EMS tuned yet, so I naturally assumed you were running the stock ECU for the time being instead of driving around on an untuned EMS.
And supposing you are actually driving on the EMS right now, please tell me your jackson racing map controller (clamp) is not installed as well, lol
also, first you told us you test drove the car and it was having problems above 2psi, but now you're saying you haven't actually moved the car more than 10 feet in your driveway. That's an impressive 10 feet if you built more than 2psi.

Boom! next time... before you start to build a turbo kit on an s2k. do some research first. "search Function" find out whats needed and how much it would cost before posting ANYTHING.
its only natural your gonna get flammed when you installed Eclipse injectors in an s2000 hahaha

im really split in 2 directions on this thread. in one hand, he came in here looking for real help and i dont think he was out of line in his first post. i believe the initial "bashing" caused his later posts to be more pointed toward retaliation and an attempt to save face instead of diffusing the situation. i can say that not many ppl did a very good job of keeping the thread on track and in the right mind. and the OP did get a little out of hand on his background and abilities. i think both sides learning to be humble would be very useful at this moment.
it is true that turboing an s2k is not for the feint of heart, but as the years go by it is inevitable that the ppl who are building them will change and the parts that go into them will change. just like the civic and integra and rsx. our job as a hub of information should still be to properly encourage the new tuners to walk down the correct path and be sure that we still keep in mind that we determine the new persons next move. now he will probably start guessing what to do next and learn through trial and error (expensive) instead of getting the help that we should be able to provide. believe it or not, we are, in some ways, a service!
ive been where you are about the DSM injectors. its not that they dont work, they do... i had the same idea bc before i built my s2k i built 5 turbo dsms....(all of us have history) and i thought that my former knowledge could roll over into this world.... but this isnt the same as ANY other car. i just researched and found out what i was getting into before i started making huge mistakes. i too work on a budget at times, but thats why my car sits at times when i wait for play toy funds to come in. lol. im sure you will get everything fixed and on track. and DONT GIVE UP on the forums here. just remember (all of us) that courtesy and being humble is a good thing to have when you are talking to ppl you dont know.. even online.
finally.... here is your answer to your oil question what oil do you guys use....

finally someone that i respect. yeah i want to get nicer injectors but they are so much lol. and for everyone wondering, no i dont have an aem ems in my car, its still the stock ecu, but its not like im driving my car next week, it will be late next spring. so i have a long time to get it done right and work all the bugs out before i have it finally tuned. and reason being i dont want a lot of boost is beucase when i go to a track, NA is one thing and a boosted car is a completely diff thing, espcially rear wheel drive. if i went to a track with a turbo s2k for the first time running 15psi, id have a huge problem learning how to go through a turn with all the boost at once, so at 5psi it will give me that feel on how to get it down so i can slowly work my way up. cuase i have a feeling, its going to be alot diff with boost then it was NA on a track. correct me if im wrong.
