Default broken comptech supercharger belt

hey guys i poped my hood after getting home from work and noticed a rag stuck in my belt that connects to the charger itself. when i wiggled the rag the belt broke i pulled the rag out and the broken belt everything else seems fine including the other belt. I already picked up a new belt at a local autoaid but having a hard time finding info on how to install any help would be sooooo appreciated. is it the same for a vortech?

Thanks,
Ryan

the belt should be large enough so that it'll slip snugly over both the crankshaft pulley and blower pulley.

loosen the tensioner pulley bolt and loop the belt under the crankshaft pulley first. then slip the other end over top of the blower pulley. tighten the belt down with the tensioner pulley and torque the tensioner pulley bolt tight.

none at all, you're essentially running NA with an obstruction (the blower and AC if you hav eone). your car will feel weaker probably, but thats about it. as long as you have a filtered air going through the throttlebody you're safe.
