this weekend im gonna put in the motor mounts 60a's i have sitting around. i tell ya if they suck or not. good god they better not suck.
I'd go w/the 60a's I'd think, I don't want any added vibrations in the car.
Just some info.
I have the 75A's installed and had to check on them a couple of times becasue the bolts, nuts came loose. This is from when they were installed.
After retorqueing the bolts I have yet to have any come loose.
In the past, both stock motor mounts failed like all of the above pics I have seen. In some cases I was missing nuts (no pun intended) because of vibrations from the motor.
Just having a built up motor has taught me to check things over a lot to make sure I am not having any problems.

Ok, I'm a little irritated, puzzled and frustrated at the same time right now...
I recently changed my 5965b (journal) turbo out in favor of a 5965b-b (ball bearing).. I used the old cold side cover from my journal turbo. After installing I was having issues of the the turbo hitting the frame rail but the motor was rocking a lot and I found out I had this mount problem. (both mounts broken). The journal was also rubbing slightly (I could see evidence on the frame rail).
Anyways I changed both mounts and the damn turbo still hits...
What am I missing here?

Maybe the turbo's are slightly different. knotch the frame. I had this same problem once apon a time
I don't want to cut the frame rail...
Don't cut it, beat it in with a ball peen hammer. Seriously though it's not a big deal at all. You don't have to worry about it messing anything up but paint, although if your touching i'm guessing your paint there ain't looking too pretty anyhow.
Mine was cut so damn bad you would not believe, looked like someone went at it with a chainsaw and a pry bar. After some metal forming and welding I have a nice OEM looking notch, but my turbo with innovative mounts seemed to be sitting right there.
On 75a's, I like them so far, but I have a nasty vibration somewhere in the dash. Doesn't bother me with top down, but SUCKS with top up. Oh well it's my race car anyhow.

I wonder if maybe the transmission mounts are damaged also?
I have two new motor mounts and the motor still rocks quite a bit just by revving it lightly...
Before I had about 1/4 inch clearance and right now I have about 1/8 to 1/16th clearance. The housing is self clocking every time it hits the frame rail pushing the coupler closer to the manifold.
