Even if this is all they can muster out of the kit (which I am sure it's not), it would feel leaps and bounds more powerful than the current Comptech/Vortech offerings.
Considering it's got 50-60hp/torque at the wheels up to 6000 RPM, I'll take 280whp anyday.

True I meant more for my personal wants I'm also concerned about the severe hp and tq drop off at around 8000 rpms. Might not be that big of a deal... not really sure
The dyno'ed car is a 04-05 S2k. I think that would explain the drop off after 8K RPM.

As far as the dip at 6k, I too would think the low rpm cam is running out steam.

I wonder if a different cam grind would help out with a positive displacement supercharger?

I believe their ELF management will allow for VTEC adjustment. We'll see what happens.

Since the car is so much more powerful down low, lowering the transition to 5000 or so would be easier.

Given the recent commens about intercooler size/type, it does not make it sound that a boost upgrade will be as simple as a pulley upgrade. I guess that may be one thing BRP may investigate after this kit is up and running.

When choosing this kit, you should realize that this blower is not going to support much more than 350whp, so if you're someone who is going to get bored with 300whp after some time and feel the need for more speed, you're going to run into a brick wall shortly there after.

This isn't all the could muster out of the kit. I just read this post from the BRPerformance forum:

"[I]We spent about 10 straight hours on the dyno Saturday and learned a lot about the setup and the fuel management.

The first thing we learned is that a non-intercooled setup is a bad idea for this application. We made good power, but it was inconsistent and we were way too close to the knock threshold for my comfort. So, at this point we don
