I'm a big fan of it too, don't get me wrong, but 200-215 lb-ft of torque from 3000 to redline sounds pretty damn sexy to me

Not to try and sound like an ass but, I think the price is going to have to drop a little bit for this thing to be HUGE!! For an extra $1000 you can buy the Lovefab turbo system that includes injectors, aem ems (probably the best ems out there), and so much more than this kit has to offer... Not to mention I would have to most likely have to buy injectors for the BRP

Or the BRP supercharger needs to be CARB legal because if I'm looking into a SC the main reason would be to pass emissions and stuff here in California.

I have been really looking into the Lovefab lately but once this popped up it immediately grabbed my attention because of the torque numbers and just the excitement of a new kit out there... and I was hoping this would have a competitive price with the comptech and vortech, as they originally stated. And I know this kit produced a lot better numbers and everything than both of those kits but $1300 better?? I dunno??

Let me know your guys thought about this... I have my flame suit on so go ahead

I'll gladly get out my

You really do get what you pay for. Look at what the Comptech/Vortech kits give you and where they give it. How often are you driving between 6,000 and 9,000 RPM. Seriously. Less than 5% of the time? Maybe not even that if you use the car as a daily driver. A 30 minute drive with 20 seconds of VTEC comes out to 1.1% of your trip. This is very similar to how I drive. Mostly highway with a few onramp spurts.

I'll even give the centrifugal kits the benefit of the doubt. Lets say you can get a brand new one installed for $4,000 and a brand new BRP kit installed for $6,500. Using the numbers in my above post (averages from my thread which compares some of the more popular FI options):

Pre VTEC

Comptech: $283 per HP
BRP: $85 per HP

Post VTEC

Comptech: $70 per HP
BRP: $54 per HP

If by priced competively you mean comparable performance per dollar...the BRP kit could be north of $8500 and still have a better ratio than the Comptech kit. The math is all there...

Not only will the BRP kit wallop the centrifugal kits when they are in their prime, but it REALLY kicks their asses in the daily driver RPM range. You may pay more for the kit outright, but you will certainly FEEL your investment on a much larger scale.

I should be on the BRP marketing team

No, getting him mad would be asking if his $/HP take into account the current US Dollar v Japanese Yen & Euro values.

Seriously man, I'm a pretty good swimmer...If I can't afford a boat, I'll figure out a way to get to you Matt.

I left the figures in US dollars because they are the only ones that matter. Right? Right? HAHA...just kidding
