On average an S2K gets about 200 whp +/- 3 hp.

He said 250-260 was conservative. I'm thinking it'll put down a little more. 260whp is about 305 crank hp. Remember, take peak hp figures with a grain of salt. Area under the curve is what you should be looking at.

And correspondingly, increased low end torque. Even with what some would consider a "puny" 60 added hp for the money, the added torque will make it a completely different animal.

I've had my hopes up for 315 rwhp like the tester car. Using the same sized pulley, I imagine an AP1 would put down at least that much with an aftermarket exhaust and test pipe. I'm not sure if they weren't overreving the the blower though.

To be honest with you, 260 sounds a bit dissapointing. Maybe they tooted their horn too much too early. I know torque will be dramatically improved thoughout the engine speed range, but a base comptech would pull harder at the top.

Oh yeah, still waiting on that sales order. What do you call it when a salesman has the order in the bag, but fails to provide information on how to pay?

I would call it disorganization, it didn't take any time to take my deposit... but it's taken a lot longer to get it back....

The 260 number is for the non-IC kit which will have less boost (different pulley) than the IC kit.

Like other's have said, I wouldn't worry too much about the peak number, this isn't a turbo. When I installed the Jackson blower in my CRX (I've had two different engines in that car, both with Jackson Racing kits), the car felt like a whole new beast. Throttle response and power delivery feel like you've just installed a MUCH larger displacement version of the engine you're starting with.

Besides, 260 RWHP for only $4K?? Yes please! You could never do that with NA parts, for that much money.
