this is very interesting...and it is opening up so many routes to make power out of the S2k.

Of course there is N/A which I am attempting. But now PD blower, or Centrifugal SC, and also turbo...and then the other axial flow SC which is under developement.

I'd really like to see the results of this PD SC though as it is still "like" being N/A with low-end torque, instant response, and linear power delivery

^ you should look at their maita hotside kit. The one that dyno 300whp, it was producing close to 250lbs at low rpm.

nice. so the advantage on running the MP62 blower on the hotside is that you can run a air/air intercooler set up correct?
Correct. With the intercooled hotside you get more power and cooler air.

ok the kit say it's 6,000 dollar includding porting and tuning. So when you purchase as a kit the EMS system they used is going to be tune already ? I think you can fit the a/c lines underneath the blower? and just get a smaller battery?

DAMN I CANT WAIT FOR DYNO UGHHHHHHHHHH POST VID OF THE DYNO!!!

No, I'm pretty sure the ECU they'll use is the new Elf, which, I believe, was designed for both Miatas and S2000s. It has a USB port and is somewhat programmable, but, there are so few Miata folks with them just yet, I'm not really sure what exactly they're capable of. They may come with a very conservative base tune for the S2000, but I'm sure you'd have to tweak them to a final state of tune yourself.

interesting if that happend, I wonder if you can take it to any tunner? This kit sound promising. I wonder how will it do with bigger injectors and fuel pump with a smaller pulley for 10psi. Maybe close to 400whp?

Yep, we intend to use our own ELF fuel management. Dyno tuning will allow you to eek a little more power out of the kit, but will not be required.

400 RWHP is possible, but the supercharger is not really sized to make that much. It would be much more comfortable at around 350 RWHP. Also keep in mind that a positive displacement supercharged S2K will be quite a bit quicker than a centrifugal supercharged one with similar peak power.

So basically the kit is going to come complete with everything? we just need to install it and its good to go right? It seem from looking at the picture the a/c lines can be relocated underneath the blower? Damn I cant wait for the dyno im so itchy about this supercharger! What's the stock boosting setting going to be?

Yes, the kit will come complete with everything you need other than a new clutch. The prototype pulley is sized to make 9 PSI. Ultimately, the detonation threshold will determine how much boost the production kit will run.

You probably could bend the A/C lines. In fact, that was our original intention, but IMO, the bent lines looked pretty sloppy. We feel it is worth the extra $100 or so to just do it right and have new lines fabricated.
