thats just crazyness, so when is the so called release date of this kit that wont even come out
Why be so negative/agressive? They haven't provided a release date because they realize that they aren't past all of the design issues yet. It will be ready when it's ready, and when that time comes it will be right the first time. This company has always provided high quality products in the past, and will continue to do the same, even if it means pushing back their planned release and getting some forum bitches' pantys in a twist...

I talked to James at Barker Products (recent merger of BRP and Barker as of the beginning of the month) and got this update:

Original 10 sets of mounting plates were found to have clearance problems - they prototyped a new set about 10 days ago and sent them out for laser cutting - supposed to be back tomorrow or Wednesday.

Throttle body was redesigned during test fitting about 10 days ago. The cad drawings for all parts are out for bid - but they are building a couple in house.

They are hoping to reinstall BETA kit 1 this week or early next week - pending availability of the car owner.

Regarding the website issues - they are in the process of moving all of the BRP stuff under stageonetuning.com. In the process they forgot to renew the brperformance.com domain when they transferred it to Barkers host - should be corrected soon and working until the stageone move is finalized.

When is the availability date? Who knows - I am hoping to stuff my F20C before I have to stuff my turkey.

You know what, i rather wait an extra year for this thing, and know its 100% touble free, than having the nightmares the turbo guys are having due to rushed "bolt on" kits. So far, every single person I know with a turbo s2000 has had a decently large problem...all due to rushed production.

I'm with you guys. And to think...I was almost the 10th beta tester. I waited for a month for BRP to send me the sales order, it never came, i never put any money down. I'll just chalk that up to their recent business regrouping. Maybe the bad taste will be gone in the spring.

[QUOTE=timg,Oct 2 2006, 05:10 PM] I'd love to see this mated to an internally wastegated turbo under an Inline Pro manifold.
