BRP/SOT Hotside SC Install
So MugenRioS2k, you have dynoed your AP1 with meth injection at ran 350whp? What pulley are you running and do you still plan on trying out the FMIC? I see in the comments for the video you state that you arent convinced on the meth injection. Did you have it tuned after you bolted it on, as power usually comes from running more agressive timing due to decreased risk of knock.

Vortec is a centrifugal
It doesn't move much air until the high rpm range. It is more for showing off high peak dyno numbers than real world performance.
The Eaton moves air over the entire rpm range - you have full torque from very low rpm ...

After all, it develops most power up high. What the Vortech does is accentuate this power curve, making the engine feel as though it has about double the displacement.
Have you driven a Vortech equipped S2000? I seriously doubt you would have this opinion if you have. The difference vs. a stock S2000 is night and day.
Has anyone tried to combine this charger with a turbo on our engine?
A friend of mine is installing one on another engine:
charger + turbo 1
charger + turbo 2

that was not my AP1 I actually own an AP2.My kit is going onn be it slowly; I only get time to mess around with it on the weekends (sat only) and even then I usually end up getting interrupted to tune a customer

Um...that could very easily describe the stock S2000 motor, you know.

BTW, I don't see the night and day, my car feels the same now as it did N/A. You can only tell the difference when you look at the speedo.

From what I understand from this thread, doesnt this supercharger mount to the header? If so, will it work with the heatshield mounts on the Mugen header, or do you have to reuse the OEM? Interested to see how it all comes together on the AP2.
