BRP/SOT Hotside SC Install
Im sure that I'm not the only one wondering-
What are the advantages of this kit over the Kraftwerks kit to be released?
They both (SOT & KW) seem like sound kits, but Kraftwerks seems to have it all together sooner
I cant wait to see them compared head to head- I AM CERTAIN to purchase one or the other. I just dont know which one yet
What is SOT doing to differentiate thier kit from Kraftwerks besides the obvious?

And... Kraftwerks will be offering thier AP1 kits in a couple short months (
) for group-buy discount. Is SOT afraid of losing potential buyers?
It sure would be a thought to ponder in my particular industry

Because it makes 50 ft/lbs or torque more at 3500 rpm in comparison to the kraftwerks low boost kit, it has no oil lines anywhere, and the blowers have been proven to be reliable time and time again. There are also advantages for the kraftwerks kit but that is another story.
^^^I agree
Just look at the dynos given for each... (muganrio just put up an early comparison a couple of pages back - w/ disclaimers for not yet production models).
Plus the SOT will give you the exact same HP/Torque ramp-up/feeling as stock (only a lot more of it).
Look at the HPTorque slopes - all of the other SC ramp up considerably faster than stock...
SOT looks just like stock -- just bumped up higher on the chart
And consider that when a OEM manufacturer choses to go down the supercharge path... 9 outa 10 times they use a roots based system.
Not that the other chargers are bad in anyway --- just that this system should be bomb proof.

This is my "actual" AP1 dyno - should be pretty close to what the production kit puts down. Mark dyno'd his AP2 with the same pulley configuration and got almost identicle peak HP and TQ numbers as my kit. Peak boost was 6.8psi
I am currently at about 18k miles on my kit - right at 1 year installed and running.
I am doing a pulley upgrade soon, hoping to get another 20-40 RWHP out of it.

Any more?
