BRP/SOT Hotside SC Install
Wlaurent,
What is involved in the intercooler system. Since it involves water, I assume there is a pump installed somewhere. No? Maybe you could expalian that a little.
And anyone know where you access the fuel pump? And do high flow Walbro's last as long as stock models, say 100,000 miles or so?
I think I would have a mechanic replace the pulley for me, but I think the rest seems like something I could do in the garage unless you have to drop the whole fuel tank, but I am going to have to get dirty anyway and do my oil jet bolts.

to swap the pulley you just use a pulley puller, also very easy. trust me if you can change oil jet bolts, then you can do the pulley.
Yes, it is a small electric pump. Here is a picture of mine. The pump is the black cylinder with the 2 white wires connected that is mounted on the floor between the intercooler radiator and the main radiator.
Looking down on pump for the intercooler radiator.

What are your other mods Wlaurent?
Tune was my conservative tune - just popped into dynocomp to see what kind of power it was putting down.
There are 4 cars running the kit currently
Just found this thread today and read all of it!!! holly wow that took a long time LOL. i like the kit, but too many things to re-locate and if im correct ECU solution is still an issue....and it whines! haha. in comparision to kraftwerks, which is a Rotrex not a centrifugal, the TQ curve on the SOT is amazingly better at low end. but the HP curve look good in both kits. as far as an option for the 06+ i didnt see anything stating the SOT kit being availible for DBW's AND I live in cali and would hope for somehting to be carb legal. KW is carb pending as we speak.
So my question is will this kit be availible for 06+ and are they gonna do anything about carb legalizing it? Thank you.
