Default Bullseye Turbo choice?

I cannot make up my mind as to which would be the better selection for me. I planning on running low boost, around 8-10psi on a stock motor ( stock headgasket) until later down the road i prepare and finish my spare ap1 bottom end built for 15-25psi

Looking for a crisp response with decent mid-range, the car is not a track driven vehicle as it stays on the streets.

The setup will be with the follow components:

Pfab topmount log manifold (t3 housing)
3'' downpipe
tial 38mm wastegate

I'm torn between the following choices:

s259- similar to gt3076r
s362- simliar to gt35r

s358- somewhere between gt30/gt35

Replace the bolded with actual hp goals and it will be a lot easier to make your choice based on compressor maps.

Yeah, power goal is more appropriate for finding a turbo. If you want a more responsive street turbo, the S258 should be more than fine.

as mentioned above it depends on your hp goal.

My buddy has a 256 on his DSM and it definitely had some lag even with high lift cams. It really depends on your power goals. If you want less than 400whp then there is absolutely no reason for anything bigger. Especially if you plan on building the block. Power under the curve is the name of the game for me. Hence the reason I was going to use a GT2871r on that manifold etc I sold to you

i'm shooting for 375-400hp low boost, and 450-500 on high boost if that helps

with high hp goals it would be difficult to have a crisp response with decent mid-range from a 2 lt engine.
make a compromise to the 500hp that you might not see with the small one, and enjoy a decent mid range
small turbo = less lag
