I think that Aem v1 is bad

 

Fuel pump is was just plug and play so it's connected how old pump was

 

How you know aem v1 is bad lol

 

Because we checked everything else lol

I was going to say this. Check to see all your Decel tables and pull up hidden tables if your running a v2 and the latest firmware. I had some tables off and some had actually had the scaling off when i ported it over from the previous firmware.


My car was still throwing fuel with throttle closed. Made for some crazy fire balls lol. I caught it pretty quick because i noticed on my AFR i was between 11.5 engine braking.

 

I have aem v1 it's started doing after I put missing bolt back into a turbo which I assume felt out or was never there
Tuner told me I had boost leak somewhere because car made 200 hp with turbo
So now I am thinking it needs to be returned
Also someone told me they had same issue with vtec not working at all on v1 they said aem v1 vtec on and off option is backward so if I set vtec to off in aem settings then vtec will work
But I don't think that is the case because my vtec solenoid is getting 14v still no vtec
Also car vibrates a lot even with J racing engine torque dumper and Megan engine mounts

 

Sounds like a lot of issues. Your tuner couldnt figure any of it out? I'd take the car to another tuner/reputable shop that knows our s2ks for a second opinion.

 

Take your car to a competent tuner and get this thing done properly...

If it is an EMS issue, they'll let you know and you can move over to a Haltech/AEM V2.
