My car will start fine with the stock map sensor, how ever the boost will limit at like .5 psi, if I do a boost leak test it holds boost fine, So I swap it out with my SOS 3 bar map sensor and change the settings in the aem ecu to what SOS recommends on their website. Upon doing that, the car tries to turn over starts for maybe a second or less and dies.

Is there anything I have to change in the aem ecu? I am running the base s2000 map, I have the injectors changed and the map sensor changed. And I can only get it to run on the stock map sensor. Maybe I have a faulty SOS sensor? Also I thought the stock sensor was supposed to read boost to maybe 10 psi? Or is there a setting that I have to adjust in the aem ecu to allow the car to see boost past 0 psi?

Any help would be great, I currently do not have a boost controller/ solenoid and am running a tial 38mm wastegate with a 8psi spring

 

You have to change the break points and retune the fuel and ignition map after changing to the 3bar map sensor.
