Car running extremely lean

That is a relief for me. Thanks for the advice. I am hoping it is not something other than the tape
anyways, you think if i switch the plugs with #1 and #2, it would switch the problem to #2 right?

Switching the connector/plug around would really make no difference because either way your still going to end up with a misfire whether it is coming from 1 or 2. Best thing to do i just undo all the tape and check the wiring again. Let me know what happens.

btw, did you have that same running lean issue? also the car is accelerating as if it is like 30hp car. basically not accelerating.
The car accelerated horrible. At first i thought the problem was just at idle because when I first started to drive it seemed to go away but as i got higher up in the RPM range it got very sluggish and sounded horrible.
update. I was planning on switching the #1 and #2 plugs and then unpluging the coils one by one to check if the problem will move from #1 to #2.
anyways, i guess the #2 plug wire was loose so when I tried to unplug it, i came off ( it wasn't the misfiring one though). #1 didn't seem loose but i plugged it to the #2 injector and left the #1 injector unplugged. so if it was a connection problem with the injectors, i should have problem with both #1 and #2. I started the car checked the coil and both #1 and #2 had the same problem. long story short, the problem IS because of a wiring problem on the injector.
Thanks a lot Chris. I'm so happy that it was not a mechanical problem. I'll get the car towed to my mechanic and have him rewire the injectors.
