Default injector question

im planning on purchasing a RC 550 injector for the S. my CTSC was not installed yet so im gathering as much parts as possible so that i will have them install all together and get it tune. for now im planning on 7lbs boost from the SC and next year would up the boost to 10-12lbs. my question is, whats the maximum/safe operation for the 550 injectors from RC? would this still be good for the future plan on increasing the boost? i will run this set-up with VAFCII and next year would be emanage blue or ultimate.

your help is greatly appriciated.

I'll tell you what, with a SC setup 550s should take you to the limit of what you want to do

how about the VAFCII, would that be enough to handle the injectors? or better start with an emanage or ultimate for tuning instead?

Get bigger injectors and EMS. Ran stock on my 7psi, then upped everything on my upgrade this year. Next year I plan to max out the blower, but with a lot of work.

I ran my Comptech with 550s and E-manage Blue at 8psi. Was a great set up. Injectors were well within their operating range.

My 550s are for sale if you're interested.

so whats the maximun and safe operation for the rc 550 injectors then in terms of WHP? is it 350whp or 400whp? i dont want to end up selling and buying another set. i remember a thread that touch this topic a bit, but i cant find what it was. my ultimate goal was just to have it at max boost of 12lbs. your help is greatly appriciated.

I'll be taking my Vortech to 12PSI. Only upgrades to the S/C kit are an AEM FPR, VAFCII, RC 550cc injectors, and a 4" pulley.

Just waiting for my pulley now. I'll do a write up once on the dyno.

Hoping for somewhere near 400.

Depends on what your fuel pressure is set to. Buy the biggest injector you can afford. That way you'll never run out of injector if you decide to make more power later on.

This table should help.
