Yeah, the hot weather makes it worse. My car still doesn't run right in the cold. Actually, in the cold, it runs horribly until I am up to normal operating temperatures, at which point it just runs like crap. I think I really need to check my oil pressure and ECU next (not much else to check). I MAY have a bad 02 sensor because I did have a CEL but then it shut off. I assumed that if it were still bad that the CEL would still be on but I've been told that they can sometimes go off. Anyway to check if my o2 sensors is still working properly?

 

the only check engine light i get P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1) sometimes.

I wish I knew what CEL I had months back. I was inbetween two big business trips and I just didn't get the code pulled. Then, a few days later, it went away. Who knows at this point. I'm going to reset the ECU tonight, then start looking for an owner who'll let me swap ECU's. If nothing happens, I'm going to get my fuel pressure tested. The only way I can find out if my injectors are working fine is if I send them out to get flow tested.
