Default Changing PSI from 9-11-13, without altering other parameters of the base map

Currently my s2 is road tuned. Haven't dyno'd yet.

Plan to dyno just to see the hp / tq curves and to see if I need to lower vtec engagement on my set up.

The question I have is if I have a tuner ecu tune my car to let's say 13psi can I keep all the other parameters the same if I wanted to just change the boost pressure on my ecu (my ecu has my password won't let a tuner lock down my ecu) to let's say 9psi for a specific application? ie,/ Will the maps still be fairly optimized or will they be off by a lot if the only parameter changed in boost psi?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can add insight to this matter . (I will also later in the weeks ask a ecu tuner)

Tuner should tune at 13. Then scale the map and test to make sure it's good at lower load points. Should be tuned to lower boost too. Just cause its tuned to 13 doesn't mean lower boost will be OK.

Just tune for whatever your wastegate spring pressure is then tune every breakpoint to 13-14 psi. Shouldn't take more then a few pulls to get them dialed in. You can then install a toggle switch to turn on/off your boost solenoid so you can run wastegate spring or higher boost white a flick of switch.

The switch is a good idea but I run a haltech ems system. I will use either my laptop or tablet to change the boost setting or load the desired map ; depending on which option is ideal
