Default 3 port setup?

I'm looking at getting my 3port set up and then another tune. The place that I plan on tuning the car is around 350 miles away. I have to send the ecu to hondata to get it configured for the 3port boost control. My question is: Is there a way to get everything set up for the 3 port boost control and then drive the car cautiously to the tuner for the tune with the vacuum lines disconnected? What is the best route to go with this? Otherwise, I will have to take the car there, then send the ecu out and wait for it to return which will be a huge inconvenience for me as it's so far away. Thanks for any help.

You can hook the solenoid setup up prior to tuning and drive it.

This

It should stay at wastegate spring pressure until you start turning the duty cycle up on the solenoid.

Why not a 4 port?

I thought those were supposed to be the new thing, run a weaker (less boost psi) WG spring (for 1st gear), but can still crank the boost way up
