Angry Checked up on a few things prior to my

Well, I had Minitoyota fix my cracked fitting and check everything over before I get re-tuned next Friday. My motor mount (pax side) seems to be on its way out, and my BOV vacuum line blew off. other than that no cracks in the PFAB mani & no play at all in the turbo.

Compression numbers

195,200,190,195

Leakdown was done at 75psi

Cyle 1&2 was like 1%, Cyl 3 was like 1.5% and the Scored Cyl, number 4 was 3-4%. Jeff also noticed the cyl 1 plug was brown, the number 2 was similar and 3 and 4 were clean, no detonation or carbon.

I am not sure if the #4 cyl scoring is even from the lack of METH, I used to detonate and could hear it before I even started to use METH on my Greddy kit.

Anyway, with 108,000 miles on the car of which it has been boosted since 65k, I am pretty happy.

Honestly, this summer I am going to either be running Q16 or a mix of 93 and Xylene to bring the octane up. I am going to try to make the sacrifice being I wont be driving it daily.

Stupid question but does Q16 = Lower EGTS?

From my experience as you know, cyl 4 see's the least amount of methanol on a single nozzle system and stock IM.

Thats the one I'd keep the most eye on.

Why dont you switch to E85? That will bring temps down and no need for methanol. You could also get rid of the 3mm hg as well and make more power.

I am either going to run Q16 with the Q16 tune, or it will be my 93 + Meth tune with half or (3/4) of 93 and the rest either race gas or Xylene just for a little bit of added protection. A few gallons of Xylene in the tank goes a long way to really bring the octane up. Being I am going to drive the car less frequently, i would rather run it with some added protection in the tank if I know I am going to be hard on the car in the summer

^ Yeah, I dunno, its actually cheaper per gallon for Q16, but the Xylene is easily accessible at Home Depot
