For reference, I'm on aem with pretty soft settings for the limiter. I don't hit it much, but probably have a handful of times in the last several months. Also I don't track it, but I drive it pretty hard most times I take it out.
On the rev limiter...when I first inquired about my TTS kit there was some concern on how the rev limiter should be set up such that when an individual hits the limiter it CAN cause possible damage to the C38 series blowers...and that the 91/92 were perhaps even a bit more sensitive to this. One way to combat this issue is to set the revlimiter to have more dwell time in between off and on (example 300-500rpm). In addition to this would be to start pulling timing in the last 300-500rpm such that the motor doesn't pull quite as hard just before hitting the limiter. This is how we set mine up and so far so good. Just my $0.02.

For the AP2 with the 128mm n 90mm do you set rev limit at 8200? Or say 8000 so there's some margin?

I asked this in the FAQ thread as well.

I was told that bouncing off the rev limiter was not good for rotrex blower sun shaft. The bolt holding the pulley in place is another problem. I have not read any issues with the TTS serpentine drive system breaking bolts. This is now not just a few random occurrences but a major problem.

I have 81 blower and broke the bolt .. Also had the crank pulley hit the rack .. I always wondered why the pulley is so wide .. It can easily loose a quarter inch to give some more clearence.. That was on new Honda motor mounts .. Since then I have installed Megan mounts all around .. Should take care of that problem .. Any one else experienced this? Probably under heavy breaking at track? ..

Hope they receive my blowers tomorrow and have an answer for me

The crank pulley has hit the steering rack on my car as well. Might look into upgrading my mounts in the future.

FWIW i have about 1500 miles on my 38/91 kit and no broken bolts yet..

From my exchange with Kraftwerks:

"You will also have to shave the close piece from the steering rack as the new crank pulley becomes very close and under extreme braking conditions, can make contact.

This modification is required by even TTS in their instructions and will not cause any damage provided you use the attached image for reference."

On mine I have about 1/4 - 1/2" of clearance, enough to be able to just slip the belt through without having to pry against the engine for clearance. There hasn't been any contact between the pulley and the rack so far, including very aggressive braking at the Dragon. AP2v1, OEM motor mounts.

I've talked to several guys that had interference, or nearly so, on these parts though. I agree that the KW pulley could easily be 1/4" shorter, which would completely alleviate this problem, at least for people with stock mounts.
