Would it perform about the same or better than the sos sport?

Hmmm, 'needs to be resurfaced'. I'd say if the flywheel has taken some abuse, so have the pucks. In which case it's a rebuild.

I bought a used Exedy HyperSingle (pretty sure this is a rebadge Exedy) and had it rebuilt. The rebuild cost me $AUD308. But then the clutch only cost me $AUD300.

Exedy Hyper Carbon D single drives almost like stock. Slightly increased pedal effort and it can be slipped quite easily for driving in traffic.

According to Exedy it will hold 450nm (330ftlb).

Downsides: It wont hold much power and will slip when cold, carbon needs to be hot to grip. Reduced life compared to other high power holding clutches.

Thank you all for the recommendations for the ScienceofSpeed Sport Clutch. This clutch is more than capable of handling the power you are making, and will have the smoothest lightest pedal compared to anything else:

The ScienceofSpeed Sport Clutch would be your best choice. Light pedal, smooth engagement, high quality components, and works with factory clutch hydraulics - no modifications required.

best regards,

And I really like my SOS sport clutch so far; just had it installed on 10/3 with an ap1 flywheel.
