Clutch for FI
Thankyou for all the replies,
I will have to look more into the ACT setup then.
SIDEWAYS... Yep that delay valve was one of the first things that had to go hehe. I'll have to try that clutch bypass you mentioned tho. I think a 8 lbs flywheel will be too light for a street car and first gear will suffer as you mentioned. I tend lean more towards steel/chrome moly flywheels for the durability over aluminum idea and from past experience. This whole FI thing is all new to me tho so all my idea could be out the window?
As far as noise does the ACT operate quietly like stock or does it all depend on break-in?

Base on my experience, more you get lighter flywheel that gives you more chatter and harder to drive. ACT streetlite flywheel is about 16lbs and prolite is around 13lbs if i do remember corrrectly.
I can not give you any idea for puck clutch setup tho.

I'm running it with 570hp and I love the clutch.
How much TQ are you putting down?
I'm looking into a possible future replacement for my CC stage4 and if the sport clutch will hold that would be sweet!

yes my bad, I didn't know chris has more than one clutch offering.
I'm running the multiplate clutch, its great both on the track and around the paddock. I'm sure it would work well on a street car too.

Wow!!! Are you serious? That is amazing! You are Racing and 570hp with a SOS sport clutch is a testament! From what I understand there is no noise and almost no pedal difference with this kit. If this kit can handle that much HP and abuse I can't see why I wouldn't go with it? Just have to pick a Flywheel now. Which one are you running?
