You can get by with an upgraded PP if you're on a budget. If not, several of us are running HTG package myself included which works very well. A lighter flywheel will allow your motor to rev up and down a little quicker. The some of the puck style disks will chatter. The unsprung disks are like an on/off switch.

I did my own clutch and it was a little involved as I already had the SC on. Save up and do it right the first time.

I plan on doing the same thing right before I go with an inline pro kit...
I am planning on getting ACT with a heavy duty full street disk (sprung hub and NOT pucked) and going to e-bay for a Fidanza(sp?) flywheel for cheap. I would suggest doing them together if you can save the funds up and hopefully you wont need to open up your bellhousing again.

good luck sorry I could not provide any real info here
-Joseph

PS: I am a namebrand whore and used the ACT / Fidanza setup on my sr20det S14 with great success and it took TONS of abuse without a problem.

HTG package is the best for basic set up IMO.

I did with a Fidanza flywheel and SPEC Stage 2 clutch. Switching back to a stock flywheel helped, but the SPEC definitely makes more noise than a stock one.
