Taking the header off only takes like 15 min and it gives you a huge space benefit when removing the two tranny bolts on that side...

Not only space for the bolts, but the tranny doesnt just come out with ease. There is limited space in the tunnel and the tranny has like zero wiggle room with the header being in the way of the tanny dropping. At least thats what it looks like..I didnt try, I just took it off.

But like the OP said, its only 15 min to take off.
