Default Coil setup?

I have been thinking of doing a msd coil setup with magnecor wires. Cars in the area, boosted with stock have been having them fail. I know CBJ was running MSD coils and Magnecor custom wires.

I was wondering if anyone else is using something like this the type of coils and how well they work.

Thanks

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the stock F20C ignition system is nothing short of excellent. However, I would like to see if any big boost turbo guys are using some sort of ignition amp to clean up the top end. Bump!

Several people have told me that boosting over 20 something pounds there is some trouble with the ignition at high RPMs.

I haven't heard of these. Can you give me an idea of what it is. I know Chris Barne's S2000 on the cover of Turbo mag a few years ago was running aftermarket coils and magnecor wires. I just don't know the type of coils.

AH! I just found their site. I will call them Monday to see what they offer. I see they have S2000 products. $735.

My tuner that is very well known in the S2000 and drag racing industry told me that the stock coils on the S are very good and should be just fine to at least 600 whp.
