has anyone ever tryed the cc stage 2 pressure plate with the oem disc. will it be like the act combo thats so popular? anyone do it?

 

Yeah I've heard of several members doing this. Although its not popular because cc does not sell their pressure plate seperately like ACT does. There are few companies that do actually.

It will be a decent setup though, but I am unsure of its clamping force compared to the act. The act/oem disk has been proven with high power setups and oem like pedal feel with no buzz which is why it is popular.

 

I asked this question a while back and got a, "Yeah it should work" response but no one responded that actually had done it. I decided to try to SOS sport clutch instead (because the ACT PP was on backorder). Its a bit chattery at low speeds when releasing the clutch but pedal pressure is pretty much the same as stock it seems like. I will be swapping out an OEM disc when the SOS one wears out.
