Default Need advice to get a proper affordable clutch

Hello all,

I will be bringing my 2005 s2k to about 400whp maybe a bit more. I would love to get you alls knowlegable advice! I would like a clutch that is full plated so it feels like stock but can handle 400 hp and be very reliable, affordable and long lasting. Many thanks for you help and time in advance!

You're welcome. OEM disc= the OEM clutch disc. You can reuse your OEM flywheel as well (or an AP1 flywheel if you'd prefer; it's lighter than its AP2 counterpart). IIRC, you're located in NoVa? Let me know if you'd like to drive my car to get a feel for the aforementioned setup (OEM disc/ACT HD pressure plate)

This is what I have, but instead of OEM disc, I'm running the ACT street disc and AP1 flywheel. Holds 400 hp/280 lbs just fine and feels like stock.

Might take you on that offer i live in germantown md. Now how long do you estimate the lifespan would be with 410whp. I just never thought you could use the stock clutch disc.

^ if you're asking how much it cost, I'm not sure anymore. I bought the HD pressure plate from an S2Ki member. Then I bought the ACT disc new because i wasnt sure how many miles the disc had. I bought the AP1 flywheel from another member on S2Ki. I think I spent about $400-450ish being that most parts are used.
