If you tightened the belt that much with a breaker bar you will probably destroy the bearings in the blower. Need to be able to turn the belt like a half turn I believe.

 

do you have an aftermarket bov or stock diverter? i just went on an all day drive and the diaphragm split and i only achieved 4psi and this is stock boost and a very small hole in the diaphragm mine is a turbonetics godzilla bov just a thought.also heard the diverter valves can stick.
