Default comptech s/c w/ out aftercooler

I'll b getting a comptech soon, possibly w/out the a/c... any1 have issues during hot weather ( i live in fl, summer is coming up!) like slight detonation maybe on stop and go traffic on 90+ degree weather? when its heat soak, is there any driving tips u recommend that could alleviate some of the heat soak w/out opening up the hood? Thanks for all the input..!

I've been running 2 years with out the after cooler. I have no troubles with hot weather, even with the a/c on. You might experience some bogging and a drop in HP but you get those with a completely stock s2k.

I believe the only way to allievate some of the symtoms of heat soak is with a vented hood or the hondata spacer, or just avoiding heavy traffic

I"m guessing there is a mjor difference in performance when it becomes heat soaked? So once its heat soaked, the only way to get rid of it is park on the side and pop the hood? I thought it'd go away once u start driving... hmmm, but thanks for hte input guys.

It will go away once you get out of traffic for awhile and air is flowing again. Might take awhile though.

What is the max boost that you can run without an aftercooler?
