another benifit to a turbocharger is you would need to be at WOT (wide open throtte, or fully steped on the gas) for it to be spooled making boost, so mpg would be the same as stock until you floor it, while a supercharger (this is what i assume, my car isnt supercharged) would always be in some sort of boost unless you your under 1300 rpms lol.
WRONG
The Vortech supercharger kits have a blowoff valve so it does not boost at partial throttle.
the dealer near my house in california just told me before i open my mouth, "comptech is ESPECIALLY honda friendly...every comptech part is acceptable." and then i said "supercharger?" and he said "EXCEPT forced induction, the car didn't come with forced induction". although maybe other dealers will be more forgiving.
1) Comptech looks better
2) Vortech is cheaper
3) Vortech is standard at 7psi, Comptech at 5.5
4) Vortech requires oil pan tapping
I am going with the Vortech, I think. Mainly because of price. I don't care about the looks of it, oil pan tapping isn't a big deal, and I want 7lbs (would need to buy another pulley for CT).
