Comptech SC VS Vortech SC
Well I feel I should respond since I just spent the last hour or so reading these 16 pages and then hours of previous research. It seems to me that- overview
Comptech: more expensive (depending on sales), runs at a lower boost (stock), more add on's, (stock slightly less hp) IMO looks nicer, no issues with fit, bolt and go with everything included, easier warranty via dealership installs, possibly less stress on engine
Vortech: runs at a higher boost, costs less, more intrusive install (but not bad)
both CARB legal
Lastly, it seems that comptech is featured more in different car magazines if that has anything to do, but I think in the future it would be comptech for me. Either way you cant go wrong with either.

My point is quite simple, guys, and it reflects my philosophy: what Mother Nature did so well should be kept untouched.
The Honda S2000 is such a perfect example for what I just said.

What is the most boost you can run on a stock s2000 motor meaning OEM headgasket.
I know with turbo, it is right around 9.5 PSI.
Would that be the same for a SC?
I had a 2000 Civic SI running 13 PSI on a stock headgasket at one point.

sorry but someone said S/C's have lag I own a 01 sebring silver S2 with the Vortech blower on it the car is fully sleeved with a closed deck and has been bored out I am running 11lbs of boost with the capability to run up to 14lbs and I have never expierienced any lag what so ever, how can you when the S/C is belt driven, you can achieve more hp on a built motor using turbo and centrifical S/C will out run a roots blower all day unless you have it tacked on an 8 cyclinder. It all depends on how you build your motor if you go that far to begin with building an S2 motor is expensive but worth it in the long run :banghead

I had a polished turd, er Vortech kit. Sure looked nice, but the electronics and customer dis-service sucked!!!
I'd drive a Hyundai before I ever buy anything from those bastards again.
