Default Comptech Supercharger

I have trawled through the forum and cant find any posts speaking about separating the Paxton Novi's oil feed from the sump.

I would have thought a separate oil resevior would be sufficient rather then rely on a feed from the sump. Has this been done before?

You mean using a separate reservoir entirely? No, I don't believe anyone has converted the Paxton Novi 1000 to do this before. You could be the first...or you could buy the new 1200SL.

I already have the Novi 1000, Its just not installed yet.

I would have thought something like a separate oil tank would have been sufficient.

you could do it, wire up a motor to pump it, have an oil cooler, and a separate tank but it's just so much easier to do it the comptech way. although i will have to get the updated brackets 'cause the original design non-insert version leaks oil.
