Default oil change w/ comptech s/c?

i just recently put on my comptech kit (yesterday) and was due for an oil change. is there any special caution i need to take when taking it to the shop or will everything be normal like all the other times and just ask for mobil 1 synthetic and they'll just do it exactly the way they did before? thanks.

I take it you did not do the install. The oil has to be drained during the process. I hope they did not reuse the old oil and refilled it with something you approved of.

With a Comptech, you no longer have a drain plug. The oil return line is removed to drain the oil. A newbee could cross thread the fitting. Be cautious when outsourcing your oil changes. It

i am totally lost... not really good with knowing anything under the hood... so a normal shop wouldn't know how to do it? if i were to request exactly wut i did before it was s/c wut would happen? explain exactly wut i must do.

Now instead of a oil drain plug you have a return line coming from the bottom on the blower going directly where your old drain plug used to live - It is a steel braided line with an aluminum AN fitting - it is two parts - First an adapter fitting to fit into the oil pan with a (BLUE male)flare end to mate to the braided hose (RED female). If you trust them fine but it is Aluminum and you cannot crank down on these fittings as they do not require it! Honestly, I would buck up and do you own or oil change and have a friend show you how if you are not comfortable -
It is the only way for me to have peace of mind since the dealer forgot to tighten my drain plug on my very first oil change!
