As BlownAP pointed out, you can beat plenty of Vettes with modest mods, but there are always going to be quicker and/or faster cars around. Have you considered autocrossing? I beat quicker and faster cars every month, often by a wide margin.

With any form of boost we're limited to a maximum of about 320 WHP (probably about 370 HP at the crank) because at around 320 WHP our stock injectors can't flow enough fuel; To get more you have to go with larger injectors, and that means you'll need a stand alone ECU and tuning. The stock driveline, clutch, diff, etc., are all up to handling 300-320 WHP, but some owners have driveline problems even when bone stock, so a lot depends on how you drive the car.

If you really want to have some fun, and make your car both faster and safer, you might want to consider an Evolution or other performance driving school. I've been autocrossing for decades and I still get a little faster every time I attend one of the Evlolution schools.

If you're not already bored with the stock power level I really think you'll get more bang for your buck if you buy some schooling and track time. When that gets too easy you can add a Comptech SC/AC for $5k or less (and it's an easy install that you can probably do yourself).
Good suggestions. Thanks!

i also suggest you just get your comptech installed...........its not like you need all the power at once. get the base kit installed, run it for a few months. then upgrade some more. and so on and so on......... when its first in stalled you will be more than happy with it, as it is a HUGE power increase over stock.

High 11's????

My setup
$3800 Inlinepro Turbo kit
$295 Inlinepro Injectors
$600 Dyno Time
$400 Exhaust
$1000 Used AEM EMS

Total $6100
Fastest pass so Far 12.20 at 113mph <---- Enough MPH to run 11's

There was another S2k at the track w/ a comptech no a/c he went 13.7 at 102
He was really upset when I told him that I went 13.56 at 102 w/ just a 50shot "WET"

Does NC require emissions testing? Only thing holding me back from turbo's is the fact that my car will not pass.

You are kidding right?
Let me point out the major flaws of your statement.

1. Your statement proves nothing b/c the other driver may have been horrible driver(regardless of what a few other owners have as times with the same setup).

2. the setup the guy had was BASIC. Read that one more time. No dyno tuning, no upgraded fuel system, no upgraded fuel management.

Granted, turbo setups are faster, give the other guy a similar setup and then come here to boost your ego.

There were no Flaws in my statement. I never said the guy did not have a basic setup. I pointed out exactly what he had a Supercharger with

Wow only $6100, that's not bad at all. I'm in cali so emissions is gonna get me, so I don't think I can go turbo. I'm probably just gonna go with a comptech.
