I would think that there is a point where you would be doing more harm than good w/o an aftercooler. The blower probably heats up a lot more at the higher speeds it spins with a smaller pulley. stphotographer is running a 7lb pulley and is only putting down 270hp. Most guys with stock boost+a/c dyno higher.
