I have driven a 4 puck rigid clutch once on a 350Z.... THAT is on/off! You can't slip these clutches for easy take off. It's made for launching/drifting.
The 6 puck sprung is allright. You'll get used to it pretty quick
You mean like this one?

THIS is in my Supercharged AP1 I must say that I am getting the hang of it now but my gosh is it snappy. BRILLIANT in gear, virtually no loss of power transfer but the jolts are real. I think it's fantastic though.

Puck clutches are notorious for coming apart/early failure. If you don't need one to hold your power its not worth the reliability/longevity and compromised feel over a traditional OEM friction disc with a more powerful PP such as the popular mated ACT. The ACT PP and OEM disc is rated to 380trw to the wheels on this car pretty consistently and that puts you at the 500whp-550whp mark on average, so your close but should be good. If you DD or drive your car regularly, this is the kind of clutch you want, not a sprung puck style.

Ive had the Clutchmasters Fx300 and now the Fx350 its a single disc. VERY streetable and same pedal pressure if not lighter then stock. Holds 110% over stock. So figure stock is 175ft tq max holding. You wind up with a total of 370ft tq holding power. Im at 382whp 292tq with my stroker and mp62 insta tq. Holds no problem and drives amazing.

My old setup was a 150 shot of nitrous and the Fx300 held every time even with the massive hp and tq spike from the nitrous

Good advice. I may consider mating a more OEM like clutch disc to my higher PP already installed at some later stage. For now though, I have been learning to handle the 4 puck rather well and I must say that it really is brilliant while shifting at speed. A lighter pedal feel would be welcomed but the race car feel is really something so for now I'll keep it as is. She's not my DD but if she was then like the OP I would want something more OEM like.

I run the H021 ACT pressure plate and InlinePRO segmented ceramic disc. I love it! I went from a 6 puck to this disc and it feels amazing.
