Default CTSC belt tension

Does anyone have an example or video of how to check tightness on the belt? I tightened mine down tonight and the tone of the SC changed, so i adjusted it back just alittle. Sounds fine now, but if I snug it back pretty hard that strange sound comes back.

Too tight would kill the SC bearings right?

Twist the section between the blower and crank pulleys. You should be able to twist the belt a bit under 90 degrees. I have never experienced belt slip at that tension, and yes you can destroy the bearings

Just not sure how much force to use to determine the twist. I can make 90 barely, but if i really twist i can go alittle past 90. Any tighter and it makes a strange sound at idle, im paranoid its too tight like that and frying the bearings.
