Default CTSC Upgrade Plan

I've got a new to me 2001 with the aftercooled CTSC novi 1000 kit. I'm planning on selling my '13 mustang gt (that I sold my 2005 s2k to buy) soon. With the money left over from that sale, I'm going to get some upgrades for the S.

Target is as close as I can get to 400whp running a 3.2" pulley. From what I've been reading, 360 is more likely with the novi 1000.

Shopping list so far. List is likely to change. I don't really have my heart set on any particular items. These just seem like the most straight forward choices.

SOS Sport Clutch. May go with something else to shave some cost there.
SOS 11.5lb flywheel. Might as well.
ID1000 injectors
New fuel pump. I'm not sure what the original CT kit came with but it screams like a banshee.
SOS 3.2" pulley. Does anyone make a slotted pulley?
SOS 3bar MAP sensor
Haltech Platinum Pro. I'm still debating this. From what I've read, it's an all around better EMS but it's not as ubiquitous as the AEMv2. Depends if I can find a tuner for the Haltech. I emailed Evans Tuning to see if they'll do an eTune on Haltech.
UEGO wideband
Test pipe
Catch can

Anything I'm missing or overlooking?
This should set me up pretty well for the future if I decide to go turbo or get the SOS novi 1200 upgrade.

I ran the CC stage 2 clutch with my comptech setup and loved it felt like OEM.

Boost and oil pressure gauges are nice to have also

Ur biggest obstacle is how much air the novi 1000 can flow. Might want to sell that whole kit and get a novi 1200 kit. Will def hit 400+ then.

The oem disc along with the act pp is a winning combo of holding power and noise free operation. Add new oem bearing and honda specific grease.

An aeromotive 340 or full blown 340 fuel pump provide more fuel with almost no noise. You might want to look into a new regulator. Pick up a gauge to mount on the rail too.

Do you have a larger heat exchanger and bosch water pump already?

ASP makes great pulleys but there could be a long wait and you have to give them all the dimensions.

I've got boost and fuel pressure gauges already. Oil would be good but I'd have to figure something out for where to put that.

The novi 1000 is the big weak spot. SOS sells an upgrade that includes a new mounting plate and a novi 1200 for a reasonable price. Might be worth it to just get that from the start and avoid having to get tuned a second time. I'm just trying to save some cash up front so I'm looking at the 1200 as a down the road thing.

I can get everything on that list from SOS. Not the haltech, but could get an AEMv2 instead. Maybe they'd give me a package deal with the novi 1200.

OEM disc + act pp sounds good. The current disc feels fine. 58k on it. But should probably just replace it anyway if I'm gonna do a flywheel.
For the fuel pump, I was thinking I'd get the AEM pump SOS sells in their EMS kits.
Still running the original CT heat exchanger.

Thanks for the input, guys!

Unfortunately Evans won't e-tune the Haltech. But if you can find a good Haltech tuner around you, it can be an excellent tuning solution. Otherwise the AEM will be fine as well.

I would highly recommend that you upgrade to the 1200 kit from Science of Speed.

I have the SOS sport clutch. Pedal feel is fine, similar to stock, but the friction disc is a bit chattery. I'd recommend using an OEM friction disc with whatever PP you decide on (FYI - SOS won't sell just their PP by itself).

When running higher boost levels its highly recommended to upgrade that heat exchanger and the water pump. Look into the SOS upgrade option, or if your mechanically inclined, look at the cheaper FrozenBoost/SiliconeIntakes one but you have to make your own mounts. The Bosch pump is high quality.

I'm tempted to just do it. But maybe I'll be happy with whatever I can get out of the 1000. Maybe I'll decide to go turbo instead.
With all the parts above, I can go either way with it when I make that decision.
The only real downside is having to pay for a re-tune.

It's probably going to be a month or two before I manage to sell the mustang so there's plenty of time to torture myself over that. Gotta refi the car with a local bank to make the sale easier on a buyer. Then find someone willing to pay what it's worth. Good times. :/

The nv1000 produces 900 cfm which isn't too bad, its only 100 less then the rotrex c38 kfraftworks and TTS is incorporating in their kits. I made 375whp with a 3.4"/11psi on dyno jet. Depending on what your redline is, a 3" pully caps the blower at 8500rpm. You can hit 400whp with it. But with any set up there is a few variables and range. That's anyware from 370-415whp at max blower speed.

The nv1200 produces 1150cfm and should net an average 50-75whp over the nv1000.
