Straight pipe? No muffler?

I am in the process of building my own exhaust aswell, but I will use 3" with a muffler on to the dual split, there i will go to 2,5" and have a separate end muffler for each pipe. They are "straight through" mufflers so the flow ability should be enough. And hopefully the sound bareable

Thanks guys, and yes, straight pipe with no muff

Well got the piping all done and the bumper back on. Took it up the road for the first time since early November I think! Exhaust is very tolerable with the top up so far

Put an isolated mount on this pipe since it was pretty close to the crossmember and rack

Horn relocated

Still got a ton of little things to do of course. Going to hook up the boost gauge and throw on the 4 bar map here in a little bit. Time for the fun to begin....

awesome man! You give me motivation to learn how to weld and do all this stuff myself. Its nice to be able to do it HOW you want and not have to rely on other people to fix stuff.

Congrats!

That exhaust with a SC setup would not be bareable I think. I guess the turbo is doing a good job to reduce noise. Very nice setup.

the turbo will act as a baby muffler, you definitely wouldn't want to run open header on an all-motor or SC setup, it would be LOUD

It can be frustrating and time consuming but like you said, it's worth it in the end!

Well I whipped up a quick, safe tune earlier today and drove the car around for a while tonight. Car is a blast to drive, all you hear is the GT30 out of the exhaust lol.

But I've got good news and bad news...

Good news; Tires won't hold a second gear roll

Bad news; Clutch won't hold a fourth gear pull
