Well then, you are going to jump on the band wagon with me. I have found several Silver Z's in the midwest around 25,000 miles under $40K. I think you need to sell your car buy a ticket to KC, I will treat you to some real BBQ and then go with you to pick up your new ride.
My next purchase is going to be a ring...
Had to put the Z06 idea on hold for a little.

It'll be some bs if that second restrictor caused the turbo to fail. Precision needs to fix their issues

I am gonna start with a CAI and BAMA tune, then 3.73 or 3.55's gears soon there after.

It's because it takes 500hp in a s2k to pull on one on the highway

If you are doing gears definatly go 3.73's, that was one of the first changes I made on all of my domestics.

As for the tune, I would not mess with a box tune, it won't do much good. I would recomend a Borla catback though, that will really liven it up and they sound SOOOOOO sweet. Thats one this the Z will never have.

Save your money for one of these, just like on the S a postive dispacment blower proides instant wheel spinning torque. I have worked on several roots and screw charged cars and you don't know torque until you drive one (Short of a deisel of course.)
