Where, the only ones I know of are belt driven or work off of exhaust scavenging.

I have 2 ports vent to atmosphere, and 2 -10AN lines welded and it's all good..

And for the record, the valve cover is aluminum, not steel. Do not try to weld steel to aluminum

Are you on a loosely built engine or the stock engine? If its stock, you may have a lot of boost getting into the crank from worn rings or something.

I am only using the two stock valve cover ports going to atmosphere catch can and I run 29 psi of boost and have never had the dipstick pop up. You can also add the Vibrant vacuum scavenger oil cap for an extra port if you dont want to cut holes in your valve cover.

awesome! got some key players posting up their input in here. i appreciate that!

im a welder/fabricator so ill just weld it. just sucks that i gotta destroy the wrinkle finish on the vc in certain spots. :-/

i think ill get some 3/4" O.D. aluminum pipe and weld them up on the same side as the oem lines. then hose clamp on some 3/4"I.D. Goodyear black hose and be all good.
If you decide to go the welded on extra ports route, try to put them in a spot that they will be above the baffle in the valve cover like the factory ones. This way you wont have excess oil being thrown into your catch can.

Also, if you dont want to ruin the powdercoat, just use 1/2 barbed fittings and drill and tap them in. No need to go with -10 or -12 sized extra ports when you will also have the stock ports bleeding with a couple more 1/2 barbed ports if you know what I mean.

I'm with spoolin, pretty much same situation (using stock pcv and breather ports only). My motor is bone stock and i run 28psi on the dyno and 35psi on the road course and my dipstick has never once popped out. I'd be looking for the cause rather than the solution. Excessive blow-by from rings or ringlands is pretty much the worst case but it could be something simple like a bad pcv or krank vent.

I actually have a crank case pressure sensor that I datalog and I have never once seen over .8psi and again that's with 35psi manifold pressure and only the stock drilled out pcv and breather barb on the valve cover.

i installed the new cometic 2mm hg before i did any of the turbo build. leakdown was terrific and comp test yielded 207 on my tester and 220-ish on my tuners during the dyno session.

i dont think it has to do with excessive blow-by, and it only does it at like 15-16+. it doesnt pop all the way out like cam was talking about, but enough for an oil puddle to form on the dipstick shelf.

i might just get 2 alum barbs from summit and tap the VC. then i dont have to jack the wrinkle coat to all hell.

How many miles are on all the cars you guys are having this problem on? It seems like our cars are kind of new for this but maybe the dipstick seals are getting old. I've seen it plenty on older Honda's and a new dipstick has solved the problem.
