disappointed..... dynoed
You need boost and afr verification from the tuner. They have the ability to map both so make sure they do it. You should be making 5 to 5.5psi at peak rpm with the base pulley and anywhere from 11.5-12.5 afr at WOT to know your in the proper safe power producing range on this kit. If you just put this kit on and haven't adjusted the belt tension properly or re calibrated rrfpr adj then I guarantee one or both of these are off, and compounded with a low reading dyno. I would expect 260-270whp on a Mustang, 285-300 dynojet.
A wideband incorporated into a kit that has only a mechanical means of fuel enrichment ie (tune) I would qualify as a MUST. There is no processing involved in keeping the car in tune so some sort of easy monitoring of the afr is essential in making sure the afr is right. Some adjustments of the rrfpr are needed through the warm/cold months. If the belt is slipping, a boost gauge is a sure way to verify this. These are the two must have gauges when running this base sc kit if you want a long lived reliable set up, which this is, as long as its set up right
As mentioned have the tuner log afr and boost profile as well.

Junky, RAIN H8R, myself, and many others have done so successfully with the Comptech/SOS kits. Please listen to the three of us OP if you want to save your engine and find out why you are down on power.
I will never mod a car ever again without a wideband to monitor AFRs. Even when running the stock ECU, It has helped me diagnose so many problems, and it's great peace of mind knowing what's going on in the engine. Not only at wot but just driving around in general.
I've done a 75 wet shot set up and I've tuned my NA car on two different systems (AEM & Kpro) and I can't begin to tell you how vital a wideband was for me.
