I don’t have the supercharger belt on, I figured I’d wait to put the extra load on it until tune time.

Got the coolant bled as well. Now time to re-do the fuel system. Haha.

Nice work man! I haven't checked this thread in a while but nice job on the new build! As Kyle said, I would just run all new fuel line. A new feed and return and convert to a return setup (maybe you said you were doing this already and I missed it).

Wife asks “What did you buy now?”

Me: “Oh just some tubing!”

Return fuel system install starts this weekend.

Some of the pnp injector adapter connectors have extremely short pin engagement on the factory harness side. On my KW unit, I measured less than .05 inch pin engagement to the factory connector. I ended up making my own pins providing longer connector pin engagement. With insufficient pin connection, at higher electrical duty to injector at higher RPM, you may not have proper injector operation.

He did it properly and hardwired his injectors. I'd never use any kind of PnP adapter and neither should you.

Why? The harness to injector is essentially a pnp connection. A plug, a connector. Mates securely, with good electrical contact.

A pnp connector that mates well shouldn't be an issue.

Couple things to button up yet:

I need another fitting for the fuel rail feed. I had a 90 deg AN fitting but it touches the intake manifold bolt head, so I ordered a 120 degree fitting and a radium banjo fitting. The banjo will definitely work but we’ll see
if a 120 AN does.

I need to secure the 8an fuel feed line under the car
somehow. I still have the evap system and will stay that way for now, I’m not getting into the removal of it right now.

I think I’m going to clamp the feed line to the return line with the AN brackets you can buy. I’ll clamp them next to where the return line secures to the plastic carriers, I think it should keep it in place. I will probably also get some of those clamps with the self tapping screw deals to secure it in other areas.

The fuel hanger wasn’t bad, but getting those lines connected to the fittings at the top, whew that was a real pain but it’s done. It really sucks working half in the trunk and half head sideways jammed under the soft top.

The vacuum lines are another area I feel could be improved. I have so many Ts now with needing to feed the FPR, pulse damper, bpv and boost gauge into the intake manifold.

Otherwise, soon as I get that last fitting, she’s ready to fire up and set base pressure.
