Just pull the stock fuel lines out and use the OEM cage that came with the car. That's what I did when I ran my -10 feed and -8 return lines.

Also.... No oring seal in your sleeves from Jeremy's build?

Glad you got your engine back and that it was built by someone with a good rep in this community What's the ETA on the reinstall and first start?

Yep, the stock fuel line removal is in my plan.

Apparently not, none of his sleeves have O rings on them. He told me I can just use an OEM headgasket on this.

Every time I go to wrench I realize I need some other part before I can start. Tomorrow the cylinder head dowel pins and crank bolt get delivered (I think I left the old one at Jeremys or it didnt make it back with the engine, NBD).

This weekend I'm going to attempt to get the head on and cams/valvetrain in. MAYBE a valve adjustment but we'll see. The following weekend the MIL and Wife are taking the kids for a weekend getaway, which will leave me with 3 days available in the garage with no interruptions. I truly only need about 6-8 hours to get from where it is now to first start, so I should be able to get it in that weekend.

I'm going to at least get it running first and then I'm going to re-do the fuel system. Snow is falling here in PA so I have nothing to gain by rushing... but I will admit the new motor and new fuel system plans have kind of re-ignited my excitement for the car. I'm anxious to get it all back together and see how this runs... I mean it's gotta work this time... right? RIGHT? Haha.

Beautiful block! I am in NJ and see you're in PA; is Jeremy local to you? I tried going online to find him, but only found an IG account. What was turn around and costs?

Made progress this weekend. Entire drivetrain went from engine stand/floor to rebuilt and back in the car.

Need about 1.5 more hours and I’ll be able to fire it up.

Time is a luxury for sure especially for a family man. That 3 day alone time should do nicely. It's gotta work this time! Have some cold ones ready to crack open when she's started and idling
